General Terms and Conditions
1. LEGISLATION.
The contracting and stay on pitches and accommodations at the campsite are governed by the Tourism Legislation in force in Catalonia and, more specifically, by the specific regulations applicable to camping establishments, including Decree 159/2012, of November 20, as well as the rest of the applicable regional and sectoral provisions.
2. ACCEPTANCE AND MODIFICATION.
The general conditions mentioned below constitute a stipulated contract between the guest and the property. These general conditions shall be governed, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with Spanish law, submitting to the courts of Girona, Spain. By browsing the CAMPING website or making a reservation through this page or at the CAMPING offices, the guest declares having read and accepts these general conditions. The general conditions may be modified in order to improve the quality of the services provided.
3. BOOKING AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS.
The guest may reserve the campsite pitch or accommodation by phone, online, or in person at our offices.
Pitches:
• To formalize the reservation, payment of 100% of the total amount is required.
• Within a maximum of 24 business hours, we will send you an email with the confirmation and status of your reservation.
Accommodations:
• At the time of making the reservation, 25% of the total amount must be paid.
• Within a maximum of 24 business hours, you will receive an email with the status of your reservation.
• Thirty (30) days or more before the arrival date, the guest must pay another 25% of the total amount. The remaining 50% must be paid one day before arrival (or earlier).
Payment methods:
• bank transfer (minimum one week before arrival),
• bank card (online).
In the event that the reservation is made through third parties (travel agencies, tour operators, or other collaborators authorized by CAMPING), their payment conditions shall apply.
4. AMOUNTS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. DEPOSIT.
The following amounts are not included in the price of the stay and are mandatory (unless otherwise stated in the description of the pitch or accommodation):
• tourist tax (€0.66 per person/day; over 16 years of age with a maximum of 7 days per person and stay), in accordance with current tourism regulations,
• final cleaning (the cleaning fee depends on the accommodation*, and is shown in the reservation form before making payment).
At the time of online check-in (mandatory registration of guest data), the client must pay the deposit only in the case of campsite accommodations (bungalows and mobile homes). The deposit is not required for pitches. The deposit ranges from €50 to €300, depending on the accommodation, and is refunded to the same card or by transfer within 7 days after verifying the condition of the accommodation after the guest’s departure. The full amount of the deposit will be refunded, except in the event that defects are detected in the accommodation, furniture, or equipment, situations of extreme dirtiness and waste and/or non-compliance with campsite rules (point 9). The cost involved in restoring the accommodation to the condition it was in upon arrival will be deducted from the deposit.
5. ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND SUPPLEMENTS UPON REQUEST.
The following additional services not included in the price of the stay are also provided, which must be reserved in advance and are subject to availability:
• EXTRA set of single bed linen – €14 per set***.
• EXTRA set of double bed linen – €16 per set***.
• Shower towel – €6.00 per unit***.
• Beach / pool towel – €6.00 per towel***.
• Pet stay – €10 per pet per day**.
• Late check-in (from 21:00 to 23:00) – €50.
All prices include 21% VAT.
** These services are not available for all pitches or accommodations and prior authorization is required.
*** The price includes the rental of one unit and does not include the change of sheets or towels. If the guest wishes to change towels or bed linen during their stay, they must reserve this service in advance. It is paid separately, according to the indicated rates.
6. CHANGES TO PRICES, SERVICES, AND PHOTOGRAPHS.
Although the descriptions of the pitches and accommodations and their prices have been prepared very carefully, they may in some cases undergo modifications, which will be communicated to the guest by email. Such modifications may occur after confirmation of the reservation and affect essential points of the contract. In that case, the guest may change the accommodation or terminate the contract, free of charge, within five days, and the amount paid will be refunded. Photographs are representative. Equipment, layout, or interior elements may vary.
7. MINIMUM STAY, CHECK-IN DAY, CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIME, MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY.
The minimum stay depends on each pitch or accommodation and the seasons, and may vary from one night to 7 nights. This information can be consulted on the CAMPING website, as well as by phone or email.Check-in time will always be from Monday to Sunday between 16:00 and 21:00. Check-ins after 21:00 incur an additional cost of €50 per entry. Check-out time: the client undertakes to vacate the pitch or accommodation and return all keys or credentials before 10:00 on the day of departure. In the event that the accommodation is not vacated within the established time, the client will pay a daily amount equivalent to double the contracted daily amount, as well as claims for damages that may be made by other persons with confirmed reservations. The place for returning keys or credentials is Camping Costa Dorada de Canet de Mar, N-2, Km 660, 400, 08360 Canet de Mar, Barcelona.
Occupancy shall be limited to the maximum number of persons established for each pitch or accommodation indicated in the listing. The CAMPING manager may prevent entry or stay at the campsite if the maximum permitted occupancy is exceeded.
8. CANCELLATIONS.
CANCELLATIONS by the guest of reservations made:
If the guest cancels the reservation within 24 hours after the first payment, the cancellation will be free of charge and 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.
If the guest cancels the reservation from the day following the first payment up to 31 calendar days before the check-in date, the cancellation cost will be 25% of the total reservation amount.
If the guest cancels the reservation between 30 calendar days before the check-in date and the same day of arrival, the cancellation cost will be 100% of the stay amount.
If, within the penalty period, the guest is forced to cancel the reservation due to official mobility restrictions that prevent arrival at the campsite, the amount paid will be converted into a VOUCHER and may be used to make another reservation on any pitch or accommodation of the CAMPING within the 12 months following the start date of the original reservation. If the guest is already staying at the campsite and is forced to leave due to official restrictions imposed due to Covid-19, the amount corresponding to the unused nights will be converted into a VOUCHER and may be used to make another reservation on any pitch or accommodation of the CAMPING within the 12 months following the start date of the original reservation. If the guest needs to change the number of nights of their future reservation due to official restrictions imposed due to Covid-19, the amount corresponding to the cancelled nights will be converted into a VOUCHER and may be used to make another reservation on any pitch or accommodation of the CAMPING within the 12 months following the start date of the original reservation.
If the guest wishes to change the reserved pitch or accommodation, they must notify the CAMPING by email at least 1 month before the check-in day and await a response. This change is subject to availability and may incur additional charges, which will be communicated before making any modification.
CANCELLATIONS by the CAMPING.
Failure to receive any of the reservation payments within the established deadlines will be grounds for immediate cancellation of the reservation. Charges will be applied according to the policies mentioned above. In the event of a serious unforeseen circumstance, the CAMPING reserves the right to cancel the contract within 24 hours after the guest’s first payment, refunding the total amount paid. In the event of any unforeseen circumstance or issue with the pitch or accommodation, the CAMPING reserves the right to replace the reserved pitch or accommodation with another of similar or superior characteristics or cancel the reservation if the guest prefers, refunding the amount paid. If the reservation is made through third parties (travel agencies, tour operators, or other collaborators authorized by CAMPING), their cancellation policies shall apply.
9. GUEST OBLIGATIONS AND ACCOMMODATION RULES.
Return the pitch or accommodation and the interior and exterior elements, facilities, and equipment in good condition of maintenance and cleanliness. In the case of accommodations, utensils must be clean, rubbish deposited in the corresponding campsite containers, accommodation clean, and there must be no damage to walls, windows, doors, terraces, or facilities. In the case of pitches, they must be returned clean and free of the guest’s belongings.
Do not carry out disturbing, unhealthy, harmful, dangerous, or illegal activities within the campsite. Flammable, explosive, or corrosive materials may not be stored, nor may commercial or industrial activities be carried out. Do not sublet, transfer, or assign the contract. Do not charge electric vehicles in accommodations or facilities not enabled for this purpose. Otherwise, the cost will be deducted from the deposit when applicable. Respect the internal regulations and rules stipulated at the campsite. Avoid noise that may disturb other users, especially after 23:00. Inform the CAMPING of any damage that occurs in the facilities and services, allowing access to designated technicians for repair. Adopt preventive measures against theft, with personal belongings being the guest’s responsibility. The client assumes responsibility for the conservation of the pitch or accommodation, furniture, and equipment, undertaking to return them in the same condition as found.
PET. The guest must notify in advance if they plan to travel with a pet. Pets are not allowed in all pitches or accommodations. In those where they are allowed, the rules established by the campsite must be complied with. Non-compliance will result in a charge of €100.
The following may be grounds for eviction, without entitlement to a refund of the stay amount:
• exceeding the maximum number of persons,
• inappropriate behavior such as excessive and repeated noise,
• damage to property or facilities.
10. CLEANING.
The accommodation will be made available to the client properly cleaned*. The client undertakes to leave it clean or to contract the final cleaning*. Otherwise, a penalty of €100 will be applied.
11. EQUIPMENT.
The campsite pitches and accommodations are subject to thorough verification and inspection before being made available to the client. If the client detects anomalies, breakdowns, or lack of cleanliness that may affect the stay, they must contact the CAMPING within the first 12 hours for immediate action. In cases of breakdowns or lack of Internet, water, or electricity services, the client must report the problem as soon as possible. These services do not depend on the CAMPING and do not entitle the client to compensation.
12. COMPLAINTS.
If the client wishes to report any complaint or suggestion, they may do so via email or by going to the campsite reception, where the official complaint forms are also available.
13. CAMPING RESPONSIBILITIES.
If the reserved pitch or accommodation presents very serious unforeseen deficiencies that prevent its normal use, the CAMPING undertakes to find an alternative solution of similar characteristics and price. If this is not feasible or the guest rejects the proposed options, the total or partial amount of the reservation will be refunded according to the time enjoyed, without any additional liability being attributed to the CAMPING.
14. PERSONAL DATA.
The client authorizes the incorporation of their personal data into the CAMPING files. Controller: Tanser Estates SL, CIF B55099360, with registered office at Avda. Riells 32B, L’Escala (17130), Girona. Purpose: to provide the requested services and send commercial communications. To ensure information on mandatory safety measures related to Covid-19. Legal basis: performance of a contract, legitimate interest of the controller, consent of the data subject, and task carried out in the public interest. Recipients: public administrations with competence in the matter, tax authorities, financial entities, and law enforcement agencies. Rights: access, rectification, restriction, objection, portability, and erasure, as well as other rights, by communication to the data controller.
