Our story: 65 years of history and family holidays

Our history dates back to 1960, specifically to the area formerly known as l’Horta Salva. It was there that its owner, Joan Salva, together with his wife Baralides Garro, partnered with Cosme Puigvert and Carme Borell to bring to life a project with a clear vision: to create a campsite designed to welcome the European tourism that was beginning to discover the charms of the Maresme region.

At that time, more and more visitors were falling in love with the mild climate, the Mediterranean coast, the unique architecture and, above all, the hospitality of the coastal towns. The campsite was born as a natural response to this new way of travelling: close, peaceful, and in contact with nature.

A campsite with a family soul
Today, 65 years later, that dream has become a campsite with history, one that has evolved without losing its essence. An ideal place to enjoy family holidays, where rest, togetherness, and lasting memories continue to be the true protagonists.

Generations of families have stayed here, turning the campsite into much more than just accommodation: a place to connect, to unwind, and to share experiences.

Canet de Mar: a place to fall in love with
The campsite is located in Canet de Mar, one of the coastal towns in the province of Barcelona that you simply must discover.

A former fishing village, Canet de Mar stands out for its rich Modernist heritage, with unique buildings and sculptures. Among them is the legacy of the great architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, including Santa Florentina Castle, a filming location for the series Game of Thrones.

But Canet de Mar is also culture and music. Every year it hosts Canet Rock, the iconic festival where people sing and dance until sunrise, turning the town into a must-visit meeting point for music lovers.

All of this, together with high-quality, locally sourced gastronomy that you can enjoy just a few metres from the campsite, makes the experience complete.
